Water consumption varies by sector:
Domestic sector The average per capita daily consumption of water exceeds 200 liters in cities and 150 liters in villages, and that the individual consumes 2 liters of water per day only for drinking, and the rest of the consumption percentage is divided into hygiene, food, laundry, and so on, pointing out that the individual in the city consumes more than one citizen The village and water consumption in showering reaches 12 liters of water per minute, while cooking food ranges between 20 to 30 liters of water

القطاع المنزلي متوسط الاستهلاك الفرد يوميا من المياه يتجاوز ٢٠٠ لتر بالمدن و ١٥٠ لتر في القرى و ان الفرد يستهلك ٢ لتر مياه يوميا فقط للشرب و باقي نسبه الاستهلاك موزعه على النظافه و الطعام و الغسيل و خلافه لافتا الى ان الفرد في المدينه يستهلك اكثر من مواطن القريه و استهلاك المياه في الاستحمام يصل الى ١٢ لتر مياه في الدقيقه الواحده بينما طهي الطعام يتراوح ما بين ٢٠ الى ٣٠ لتر مياه

Their goal is to raise the level, percentage or quantity of water resources in Jordan, reduce the demand and availability gap, find new water sources on the one hand, and reduce water losses on the other.
Jordan is the second poorest water country in the world, where the per capita share constituted 160 m cubing annually, which is the minimum per capita share, the limited groundwater and surface water accounted for 66% of the water sources in Jordan in 2007 There are projects to increase the percentage of water in Jordan from these projects (the Red Sea Canal project and the Dead Sea Canal project) who contribute by 500 million cubic meters and will contribute 30% of Jordan’s water resources in 2022

تعتير الاردن ثاني افقر دولة مائية في العالم حيث شكلت حصة الفرد 160م تكعيب سنويا وهو الحد الادنى لحصة الفرد، شكلت المياه الجوفيه المتحددة والمياه السطحية 66% من مصادر المياه في الادرن عام 2007 هناك مشاريع لزيادة نسية المياه في الاردن من هذه المشاريع ( مشروع قناة البحر الاحمر و مشروع قناة البحر الميت ) الذين يساهمون بمقدار 500 مليون متر مكعب وسيساهم ب 30% من مصادر المياه في الاردن بسنة 2022
